Getting to Know Mrs. Folkerts
All About Me
I was born and raised in Cornell, where I still live with my husband, Logan. We have two small dogs, named Emma and Molly. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) where I work during the summer and a few weekends during the school year at Evenglow Inn (Alzheimer’s Care Unit). I love spending time with my family at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Logan and I love to travel and explore. One of our favorite places that we visit regularly is Brookfield Zoo. I am sure there is more about me that you will learn throughout the school year!

My Education
I graduated from Flanagan-Cornell High School in 2014. I graduated from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois with a degree in Elementary Education and a Special Education Endorsement in May 2018. This is my second year teaching 4th Grade at St. Mary’s. I am looking forward to another amazing year!
